For our Junior Activity, we invented a toga party with jello wrestling down by the boathouse. “I remember that night being very cold, very sticky and very silly… and I ruined two sets of sheets!”
We definitely ruined the kiddie pool.
Memories
Senior year, the day Hillary Clinton came to speak, I got my traditions mixed up and merged them. I wore my robe all day long, but I wore it without my clothes.
When it was my turn to greet her, I handed her a book to sign and a pen. The lovely Secret Service gentleman, in a very stern voice, says, “Miss, you need to put that pen in your pocket! She will use her own!”
“But sir, I don’t have any pockets.”
“Miss, I said, put it in your pocket or somewhere in your clothes! I will not repeat myself,” he said, almost yelling at this point.
“But sir… You don’t understand. I’m not wearing any clothes under here,” I reply nervously. “We have a tradition and…”
He cuts me off. “In all my years in the Secret Service, I’ve never heard THAT before",” he says. And by then, Hillary was done signing my book… smirking the entire time.

One of my favorite memories is the cross country road trip we took the summer after we graduated.
We dared Alexis to wear this wig into the Outback Steakhouse, which she did with complete seriousness.
